And God says, "I am rising up a nameless, faceless generation. They are anonymous, hard to define people that are not constantly seeking recognition for their work, that are not looking for payment because of their achievements, and are not concerned with gaining position or power through selfish motives. They are totally devoted to the church of Jesus Christ, and will always serve therein. I am looking for a generation that will simply do as I ask without question or hesitation.”

So, who are the Faceless Generation?

The Bible is full of accounts of the miraculous having been worked through ordinary people, so should the same not be true today?

God's Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead, dwells in each of us who have made a prayer of commitment to serve Him; and it is promised that we will do even greater things if we live in this faith. (John 14:12)

The faceless generation are those who are claiming this promise, and are moving out of their comfort zones and onto the battlefield of a desperate world.

They are like freedom fighters for the Gospel; soldiers who have spent years training for combat, but are only now receiving orders to go into battle for the first time.
So, are you waiting for your orders? Well, they've already been delivered; the Bible!

For starters; the Commandment ‘love thy neighbour’ is just that, a commandment from God; a direct request from our Father and Creator, to love, not only those who come from hardship backgrounds or third world countries, but everyone, regardless of social standing or circumstance.

Now go out into your communities, your work places, schools, clubs, shopping centres, farms, television studios; and every day seek to bring glory to God through a life lived in faith.

Everywhere is a mission field.

It is God’s wish to see us all as workers for his Kingdom; and so we are all missionaries together, not just those who have been traditionally commissioned in the roll. It is not skills or gifts we lack to perform the miraculous today, as these are given abundantly through God’s grace to those who seek them. Instead, it can be just simple disbelief that they are ours to claim in the first place. More seriously though, is the total absence of a personal mission altogether that breaks God's heart most of all.

If we try to live a life of Christian faith by “loving the Lord God with all our heart, all our soul, with all our mind and all our strength.” (Mark 12:30), then isn’t every step we take one more in a war against what the world has to offer.

Join the revolution. It's not about us; it's about Him!
